I’ve been enjoying a low carb lifestyle for over 30 years. I first stumbled on “low carb” as a teenager, while competing as bodybuilder. Years later, while working with Quest Nutrition, I learned about the ketogenic diet. The results I experienced where so profound, that what began as a 4-week keto experiment, turned into a lifestyle. While searching for keto snacks to incorporate into my lifestyle, I was disappointed to find that most of the products labeled as “keto”, were either too high in carbs or contained ingredients like chicory root, which cause bloating or maltitol, which spikes my blood sugar. So, with over 25 years of experience in the health food industry and a passion for making low carb eating enjoyable, I set out to create a line of low carb snacks and foods that taste as good as my favorite junks foods, without the metabolic consequences.
