Chocolate Sea Salt Dessert Calzone

Ingredients:

• 1½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese (168g)

• 2 tablespoons cream cheese

• 1 egg

• ½ cup fine almond flour

• ¼ cup cacao powder

• 2 tablespoons Lakanto or Swerve Confectioner’s Sweetener

• 1 Heka Good Foods Chocolate Sea Salt Bar, chopped

• ¼ cup sugar-free chocolate chips

• Pinch sea salt

 

Method:

1. Heat oven to 425°F. Microwave the cheese and cream cheese for about 90 seconds, stirring

midway.

2. In a separate bowl, whisk the egg, then add the almond flour, cacao powder and sweetener. Stir

in the melted cheeses until combined. If needed (for pliability) microwave for 20 seconds. Using

hands, form a dough ball. Place onto a greased sheet of parchment paper and cover with

another piece. Roll the dough to the size of a small pizza crust. On half, sprinkle the bar and

chocolate chips evenly. Fold the empty half over and use a form to crimp around the edges.

Sprinkle top with sea salt.

3. Coat a clean piece of parchment with cooking spray and lay calzone on top. Bake for about 9

minutes, or until the edges begin to brown. Remove to cool for 5 minutes. Sift additional cacao

powder and confectioner’s sweetener on top, and/or drizzle the top with melted sugar-free

chocolate.
